London’s Looks

These are my top three make-up looks for Fall Winter 2011, from London.  I absolutely love the monochromatic eye at the Aquascutum show, the prim and proper lady look at Antonio Berardi, and the adrogeny everywhere…but especially on the models in the Jaeger show.

All Hale Mr. Fast

LuvZ | this jacket from Mark Fast & Danier’s Fall Winter Collection!  The cranberry colour is a nice addition to the usual brown, grey, and black palette we see in the fall.  And the silhouette and details are pleasantly pared back, compared to Fast’s usual avant-garde style.  I would literally wear this every day…oh fantasies.

Mark Fast is the new ‘it’ boy on the scene, in case you haven’t heard, recently adding collaborations with Christian Louboutin, Swarovski jewelry, Top Shop and Danier to his CV.  Wonder who will be scooping him up next?

What I’m Wearing

Over the last couple of weeks Mother Nature has been letting us know that spring is right around the corner, with warmer temperatures, melting snow, and longer days.  But it’s still dreary outside in Toronto, and when I wake up in the morning I see a city in shades of grey.

It can get a little depressing, so today I decided to put my wardrobe in full spring swing with a bright pop of colour on top and the latest jean trend  on the bottom.  The cropped pleated jacket and body suit are from H&M, the Jeans from UPC Boutique, and the shoes BCBG

Tip:  If you have not yet embraced the wide leg trouser, switch them out for skinnies and instead of a cropped fitted jacket, go with something longer and looser.
